Few images from today’s US Open quarter final, between Simona Halep and Viktoria Azarenka. Halep won after a dramatic match, interrupted by rain. Nice experience to be on Arthur Ashe arena, biggest tennis stadium in the world, which is getting a roof by next year. Guest of honor in Halep’s box was Nadia Comaneci, together with Horia Tecau, Virginia Ruzici and Darren Cahill, Halep’s coach.
2014 US Open champion, Marin Cilic, training for another shot at this year’s title, under the supervision of his coach, former 2001 Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic.
Another practice session at the US Open, Simona Halep (currently #2) & Angelique Kerber (currently ranked #12 by the WTA) having a friendly match on Grandstand Arena. Currently both made it to round #3.
