Another milestone for my blog, the list of countries from where my visitors are, just reached 60. Latest country on this list is Myanmar. Its a very nice/pleasant feeling to know that my photography reached so many countries, and hopefully all those visitors all over the world, appreciated my art .
Thank you to all my visitors so far, and to the new ones hopefully coming to see more beautiful pictures inspired by New York and its people.
Since this blog has almost reached 25,000 hits in less than a year, I realized it will be a good way to promote my recently opened online photography shop. Please visit and let me know what you think. Any constructive feedback will be appreciated.
Today, people on Roosevelt Island organized a peaceful rally against the local Public Safety Department, an organization which theoretically should provide a safe environment for island residents (more than 14000), which lately, under current leadership, displayed a pattern of brutality and abusive behavior against the very same people they are supposed to protect. Images of this rally below:
Sunday afternoon in Central Park.
Recent snow in Manhattan brought a lot of joy to children and not only (unfortunately, as I type this the snow is melting away due to rain and warm weather). Anyway, the fun can be seen below.

You probably saw the latest news about the huge snowstorm which hit the northeast states of the US. While some states were hit very hard (Connecticut for ex) , Manhattan and Roosevelt Island got only 8 inches of snow last night. I just took a walk outside and took those images.
Yesterday, during my Cornell hearing shown in the previous post, I had the opportunity to listen the testimony from an ETSY executive, favoring the new Cornell campus to be built, and also explaining briefly the benefits of doing business on ETSY site.
So, I’ve decided to give it a try and I just opened my new online shop with them. In the next days you’ll see more items for sale, mainly high quality prints, posters and canvases with some of my best NY photographs, suitable for home or office decoration.
Enjoy.
