Because we live relatively close to Central Park, we go there often, and of course every-time I take pictures. This is how the park looked yesterday’s afternoon on a gorgeous day.
Have you heard about Mermaid Parade in Brooklyn? If not, take a look. New York is the city of parades and street fairs. Every weekend there is one somewhere in the city. Portions of streets are closed and the fun begins (not to mention extra pressure on traffic). And for a photography enthusiast there is a lot to do, and later share on his blog. Roosevelt Island, one of the best kept secrets of Manhattan, is technically a part of it, but in the same time is totally independent and separate. Every year, different activities are organized here, one of them being Fall for Arts. Last year , this program included , among other things, a presentation of Oedipus Rex by an all male cast.
