Actually more like the cold (40 degrees in April), the wind and the rain, because I’ve decided to experience live american politics. There was a Bernie event close to my house at LPAC in Long Island City. They have a big hall of 740 seats which was full by the time we got there, and a small 180 seats hall where we sat. Bernie gave a short speech in the small room first, then moved to the bigger audience when we left. Overall it was an interesting experience.

Few images from today’s US Open quarter final, between Simona Halep and Viktoria Azarenka. Halep won after a dramatic match, interrupted by rain. Nice experience to be on Arthur Ashe arena, biggest tennis stadium in the world, which is getting a roof by next year. Guest of honor in Halep’s box was Nadia Comaneci, together with Horia Tecau, Virginia Ruzici and Darren Cahill, Halep’s coach.
2014 US Open champion, Marin Cilic, training for another shot at this year’s title, under the supervision of his coach, former 2001 Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic.
