Today, Roosevelt Island hosted the 3rd edition of the annual Cherry Tree festival. I was there for just a few minutes at the end of the day, and here are a few images.
Travel
A couple new additions to the list of countries which had views to my blog.
They are Guadeloupe, Taiwan and Algeria, making the total to 65.
Few B&W images from Manhattan and Central Park.
Every year New York is host of the Tribeca film festival, which is accompanied by several activities, among them the street fair on Greenwich street. Here are a few images, 10 years old, from my archive.
Another milestone for my blog, the list of countries from where my visitors are, just reached 60. Latest country on this list is Myanmar. Its a very nice/pleasant feeling to know that my photography reached so many countries, and hopefully all those visitors all over the world, appreciated my art .
Thank you to all my visitors so far, and to the new ones hopefully coming to see more beautiful pictures inspired by New York and its people.
Sunday afternoon in Central Park.
Recent snow in Manhattan brought a lot of joy to children and not only (unfortunately, as I type this the snow is melting away due to rain and warm weather). Anyway, the fun can be seen below.
You probably saw the latest news about the huge snowstorm which hit the northeast states of the US. While some states were hit very hard (Connecticut for ex) , Manhattan and Roosevelt Island got only 8 inches of snow last night. I just took a walk outside and took those images.
