Last month, a new park was opened in New York City. It is a memorial dedicated to president Franklin D Roosevelt, build on the southern tip of Roosevelt Island, after the plans of architect Louis I Kahn. The park was named Four Freedoms Park and this link will give you all the information you want about it. As a Roosevelt Island resident I can share that building the park on the island generated a lot of heated debates about the design, environment, Manhattan views, etc. Yesterday I finally saw it and I took the images below.
