Wonderfull autumn day on Roosevelt Island, host of the local Fall for Arts Festival.
Annual Bodypainting day took place in Manhattan today. Models, artists and many newyorkers in the audience. See below.
The annual WNBR event, New York edition took place today, starting point in Brooklyn. The only problem was that the number of photographers was bigger than the number of participants…
Since the opening of this blog, I’ve had quite a lot of viewers (over 100,000 hits from 117 countries), so I’ve decided to expand the original theme of my blog, in order to avoid opening a second website with images from other places I’ve seen. So from now on, I will publish images of faces and places from New York and not only. Berlin today. More to come.
Just a 5 minutes ferry ride from the southern tip of Manhattan takes you to Governor’s Island , a nice place to spend a few hours (or more), with a beautiful Manhattan’s panorama in front of your eyes.
People still enjoy a stroll on the boardwalk covered with sand, or on the beach, covered with debris, two weeks after Sandy.
Such an interesting subject this photographer choose to shoot, on a bench in Central Park… What you actually do not see is the squirrel in the lower right corner, which this guy was actually shooting. I was sitting on a bench across those guys, and got this great, really funny shot. Central Park is an endless source of great photography.
A visit to Manhattan cannot be complete without Central Park, so this post will give you an idea what to expect when you visit the park. It’s a lot of fun (for me) to watch, observe and take pictures. Or just relax, walk, skate, bike, ride, chat, listen, eat, rest, admire, etc. Come back again (to my blog) to see additional park images from different seasons of the year.
